Interview recorded in conjunction with 40th anniversary commemoration of the integration of the University of Mississippi. In 1962, Ray Kerciu was an Art Professor at the University of Mississippi. He regularly hosted James Meredith in his home on the campus of the University of Mississippi. During his first year of teaching at the University, he was arrested for a show of his art work on campus.
